Fall is in the Air

It's September and I get that desire to watch the Wizard of Oz again. I remember as a child that it only came on once a year after school started. It's funny how certain traditions or routines as a child can be so imprinted into our brain that we remember them, for the rest of our life. Many things can bring back certain memories, a place, song, smell, food, holiday, person or an item that you see. I wish I had the amazing smell of essential oils when my son was young to help create certain memory connections. Children need as many good memories as possible to help them through the tough times of being grown up. Help them to believe in their own inner power. They need to be strong emotionally and know who they are, to be able to stand up for what they believe in. I have oils that help me for almost every mood or situation. Aromatherapy helps me work through so many issues.

I know those ruby red slippers were a favorite item from this movie. I didn't realize the mental connection to them as a child. I also liked the tin man. I'm not sure why, maybe it had something to do with the oil. Hehehe. It was a grand adventure of a movie and I looked forward to every year. I hope all kids have something to look forward to in life.

Tin Woodsman: What have you learned, Dorothy?
Dorothy: Well, I - I think that it - it wasn't enough to just want to see Uncle Henry and Auntie Em - and it's that - if I ever go looking for my heart's desire again, I won't look any further than my own back yard. Because if it isn't there, I never really lost it to begin with! Is that right?

Glinda: For the record, I knew you had it in you all along.
Oz: Greatness?
Glinda: No. Better than that. Goodness.

Give all children the courage to believe in their own inner spirit and strength, good morals, and arm them with ways to get to that safe peaceful place. It will help them in life.

Thank you for stopping by.   Diane  :)
